Trip Schedule

Day 1: IOANNINA - ISTANBUL
Departure at 07.00 from Ioannina and via Egnatia Odos, Grevena, Alexandroupolis we reach the border of Kipi. Passport control free time in tax-free items. We continue passing outside Kesani, Malgara, Redesto, arrival in Istanbul in the afternoon, check-in at the hotel. Overnight.

Day 2: ISTANBUL
After breakfast we start our day which is dedicated to the City tour. We will visit the famous church of Hagia Sophia, an insurmountable symbol of Byzantium, the Byzantine Hippodrome with the 3 magnificent obelisks, the bronze tripod of Delphi and the Beautiful German Fountain of 1898. Then we will visit the Royal Stern there is time, optional cruise by chartered boat on the unique Bosphorus that connects the Black Sea with the Sea of Marmara. Free time for coffee, walks, shopping in the flea markets. Return to the hotel, overnight.

Day 3: ISTANBUL
After breakfast we will be guided to the Dolma Bahce Palace. Then in the center of the Orthodox world, the Ecumenical Patriarchate in Fanari. we will visit the Virgin of Vlacherna, where the Akathistos Hymn sings for the first time in 626 AD. Following is a short walk to the Egyptian market full of wonderful spice scents to reach the big covered market of the city, Kapali Charsi with its 4,000 stores. Free time to wander in its market, making of course the necessary bargain or to relax by making a Turkish bath in one of the most famous of the area. Return to the hotel, free time. Overnight.

DAY 4: ISTANBUL - GRAND PRIX FORMULA 1
Breakfast and departure by bus to watch the race on the track "Intercity Istanbul Park" in the Asian Side of the City. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. In the evening free time for a tour of Taksim Square. Overnight.

Day 5: ISTANBUL - IOANNINA
Breakfast and then we take the road back to Ioannina. With intermediate stops for food and coffee late in the afternoon we arrive in Ioannina.
