Day 1 FLIGHT TO DUBLIN
Meeting at the airport and flight to the capital of the Republic of Ireland, Dublin. Arrival, transfer and settlement at the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2 DUBLIN - TOUR
Today is dedicated to the beautiful city of Dublin. During our tour we will pass the main boulevard O Connell, we will see the historic Post Office building, the old 18th century Customs and we will end up at the Holy Trinity College to visit its Library and admire the unique Book of Kells. Following is a visit to the National Archaeological Museum (collection of gold Celtic jewelry).Next we will visit St. Patrick s Cathedral, a symbol of the Irish Protestant Church, Phoenix Park, Europe s largest urban park, the Jameson Whiskey Distillery, and the Guinness Brewery. Also, weather permitting, we will make a short cruise in the calm waters of Lifi, from where we will admire the historic buildings of the city.Exploring Dublin continues on the famous Crafton and Henry pedestrian streets for shopping, food, coffee, etc. Our walk ends at the Temple Bar, one of the oldest in the city, where we will have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of beer in one of the dozens of pubs. . Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3 DUBLIN - BELFAST - DUBLIN
Morning departure for the legendary capital of Northern Ireland, Belfast. Panoramic tour of the city during which we will see, among others, the sloping clock tower, the Opera House, the Town Hall, the University of Queens and the Crown Pub. We continue to West Belfast, where we will tour the area of hostilities between Catholics and Protestants during the 1970s and 1990s and the current Wall of Peace. We will also visit the Dock where the Titanic was built. Free time. Return to Dublin. Overnight
4th day NEWGRANGE & TARA HILLS
Breakfast and optional excursion to Ireland s major prehistoric sites near the Boyne River. Newgrange is a huge tomb passage dating back to the Neolithic period. Built around 3200 BC, it preceded both the Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. The circular roof is supported by a retaining wall of white quartz stones and large stones carved in spirals and other designs. Through the passages and the chambers, and in the Winter Solstice, the rising sun illuminates the interior.Newgrange is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tara Hill plays a major role in Irish history and mythology, as a traditional inauguration site for ancient tall kings. There are several stone structures here, the oldest of which is the megalithic tomb called Fate of Hostages, which is believed to have been built around 3000 BC. Earthworks here include two connected enclosures, a ring fort and a ring. Both ancient sites combine at Newgrange and Dublin Hillof Tara Day Trip, a tour to discuss the history and mythology associated with the two monuments.
Day 5 RETURN FLIGHT
Early morning transfer to the airport for the direct return flight to our city.
