Trip Schedule

Gathering at 07.00 in the Region of Epirus and departure for Florina. We suggest a walk on the banks of the river Sakuleva. Along the Sakuleva stretches the cobbled avenue Eleftherias, certainly the most beautiful and characteristic street of Florina. An endless series of old mansions with bright colors, neoclassical, eclectic and local Macedonian architecture, most built during the turbulent period of the interwar period, adorn the banks of the river. Early in the afternoon boarding the bus and departure for the fairytale village of Florina, Nymfaio.

Free time for food and walks in the restored mansions and optionally, for those who wish, a visit to the information center for the brown bear in the historic building of the Nike school. You can find out about the evolution of the brown bear, its geographical distribution, biology, ecology, the dangers it faces as a species and the ways to deal with them. Early in the afternoon board the bus and return to Ioannina
